This week we decided that it would behoove all involved if we moved her to the nursery. I'm pretty much the slowest person in the world to adapt to change and so not having her right next to me after so long is sort of hard...I'm always wondering what she is doing in there by herself! although, I'm pretty sure I know - she is just sucking her fingers.
This past week she has starting sucking even when her fingers aren't in her mouth. Sort of like when you eat something sour. She changes so much constantly it is hard to keep up with it all!But back to the nursery...so Matt and I are "sleep training." She is doing really well with this - she hasn't cried for more than 35 minutes since we started 3 nights ago. Most of the time she only fusses for about 5-10 minutes. She was sleeping in our room and then I would nurse her in bed and just fall alseep. We pretty much just ended up sleeping together in our bed..but she would wake up and I would wake up and she would cry so much when she is in our room! Much more than being in her own room. And so, it is the best thing.
Whereas before her sleep patterns were mostly irregular - although her longest nap was always in the morning - now it is pretty set.
Wake up at 7 am (this has always been the case b/c I usually wake her up to nurse her before school)
Nap #1 between 8-9am sleep until 11:30a
Nap #2 between 145-2:30p sleep until about 4:30p
Bedtime: between 6:30-7:30...and she doesn't come out of her room until the morning. :(
She used to fall asleep to the relaxing orient cd but NOW she falls asleep to a CD Matt copied from Nathanael who copied it from a kindergarten class who played it at naptime. She falls asleep so fast when she listens to it!
Zoe gos a lot longer between feedings now too so that she hardly ever has to eat while I'm gone (except on Thurs...b/c it is longer). Yay! I was trying to remember what she was like when I first went and she was only 3 weeks old! Incredible.
Well, Baby Miles is coming out in about a month and I am SO EXCITED!
There is so much to be excited about these days..... ;)

Hey Mandy,
I've been reading your blog for a long while now. I went to school and was a math major with Matt at UT. Anyway, you're busy with a baby, but just in case you were interested, I just started a new blog here on Blogger. I set it as private, and I'm not quite sure how to add/invite people other than by adding your email address.. So if you'd like to read it, message me your email address so I can send you an invite. : )
