Exploration.

Since Zoe is such a walking pro, we've taken to the outdoors! This morning we went on a very humid walk around our complex and through the grotto. (The grotto is what I am going to call the various spaces/walkways around Brandon and Christine's beautiful property.) Here is a picture of Z discovering some rocks, taken shortly after she was taught that although we may pause to appreciate the fine gift of rocks, we do not eat them.

Also! Quick note: this stuff really works! I bought it at Central Market yesterday (as Matt said it, we have a love/hate relationship with this store. Some things are so expensive!). Anyways, I wanted a kid-friendly, DEET free bug spray that *actually* worked. Well folks, I tell you what this does. The grotto is FULL of nasty mosquitos lying in wait and I literally saw bugs fly up to z then turn and fly away. She got pretty bit up on our last adventure (sad) and so I'm thankful to not have to go looking and trying out tons of different bug spray concoctions. It has a weird smell, but its like - an herbily weird scent and isn't sticky. I know this isn't a product blog but just wanted to let all my other momma friends know. (Tis cheaper than burt's also..)
