Here are some Z stats for you from her 18 month appt that actually happened at 19 months...
Height: 33.75 (92%)
Weight: 26 lbs (69%)
Head: 48.3cm (89%)
Z is starting to remember the doctor routine a bit more now...I explained the shots to her again before she got them. I'm hopeful that she will remember how it hurts for just a short time and then after it's not so bad. She is always so trusting of those nurses...
Z's language skills have started exploding and she can now express pretty complex thoughts, such as "I want Daddy...," often said if I tell her she can't do something or if she gets hurt. If you sneeze she'll quickly giggle and say, "achoo momma" or "achoo daddy" or if it's her that sneezes she'll say, "achoo baby..." I'm pretty sure her favorite things in life are "Daisy, Elmo, Cookie..." because she often chants that trio to herself. Oh, and Link. If she hangs out with him you pretty much can't keep her off of him! She'll also run to the door immediately no matter what she is doing if you say, "Zoe, let's go see Link." or "let's go see the baby..."
Twice a week I'm tutoring at a middle school in the morning, so for four hours twice a week Z gets uninterrupted Daddy time. This is what Z looks like on days Daddy gets her up:

She has also been spending a lot of time in the church nursery, just because of various things going on that Matt or I, or both of us, have to be at. She has a middle school friend who comes to church just to spend time with her and every Tuesday night I'll find them laughing and chasing each other and playing with stickers! They are best friends!!!

And in other news, I am 24ish weeks pregnant and ha-uge. It's ridiculous!

I have no idea how I got this big already, but meh. At my appt today the baby's back was against my back. That little stinker! I refuse to have back labor again so that little girl better get with the program and turn over! I know she still has tons of room, but I want a good overall track record, thank you very much. The headaches have gotten a ton better but exhaustion is ridiculous. Babycenter.com's updates are clearly geared towards woman in their first pregnancy. They talk a lot about how in the 2nd trimester all your energy is returning, blah, blah, blah. No. It isn't because your toddler is still crawling all over you and climbing on your stomach and kicking your chest and sucking all the energy out of you! Wouldn't trade it for the world though.. I just want to point out the lack of accurate information on the week by week updates. I've started having round ligament pain, not the kind I had with Z that was stabbing, but the dull, you've been too active kind. Still spend a lot of time popping tylenol. Praise God for medicine!
I'm also spending one day a month with W and MJ, which is a 12 hour day away from Z. Those are quiet days where I spend a lot of time sitting on the couch and chilling. I really like that because it gives me time to JUST be with baby #2. I'm so busy chasing Z that I don't have as much free space in my mind to daydream and think about the second one, but on those days it's just me and her... good for the bonding.
I think that is it. Im anxious for late June to get here!!!
