40 weeks.

Well people we made it. I am officially past due! (How long? Too bad, I won't tell you!)
Babycenter says, "Even with reliable dating, some women have prolonged pregnancies for no apparent reason." That would be me folks, sad to say. I was thinking about this in the shower last night... that fact that elephants have 22 month gestational periods and that most women have 9 month ones. I was thinking, "I should get a whole seperate category... most women have 40 week gestational periods, except for Mandy, whose is 42+"

But, I am not that late yet and I am just being silly. (Sort of.)

My bag is not packed to go to the hospital. I figure I'll have plenty of time once contractions start, I probably only need 15 minutes.And if I end up being induced, I'll have plenty of time to think and worry about my hospital bag. I do have a list however of stuff I'd like to take. Matt has a list too. His is short, "JACKET!, swimsuit, mints."
I added the mints. Last time he was eating chocolate covered coffee beans. Those have been banned from all future births.

And so, we wait. Chick is keeping all her peeps on speed dial so she'll be able to let them all know the big news fast!
