Week 8, Day 3

How did I jump so quickly to 8 weeks and 3 days? Well, apparently our little bean is a bit older than we thought! Based on the measurements of how big s/he is (1.85 cm crown to rump) this baby is 8 weeks and 3 days! Our new due date: July 19, 2009. (EVEN CLOSER TO THE HARRY POTTER RELEASE!!!! its hopeless...)

Here are some pictures from our fun dr. appointment - the ones of the sonogram are sort of poor quality because we don't have a scanner. On the top left hand side of the picture it says, "Hi Mom and Dad!!"

And... mostly... it just looks like a clump of baby. But, oh well! You get the main idea: there is a baby, its inside of me, its growing.















That is us - in the room waiting for the doctor. Matt was in high spirits and I was focusing on not puking.















Okay! There it is!!! Our little bean! The yolk sac is above the baby in this picture. The head is to the left and the rump is to the right. It's really hard to tell what the heck is going on...

A funny story: Lanier high school math wives keep getting pregnant! There are 3 male math teachers w/pregnant wives -- all of us due in July!!!
