2 weeks and almost 2 years.

Life with two babies. Not so bad! I think this should be accredited wholly to Miss Ana. She is insanely easy to care for. She nurses great, sleeps great and has a really easy going personality. Sometimes she fusses about something and then after 5 minutes or so just stops. This is especially remarkable when I'm doing something with Zoe and can't get to her right away... at which point the thing she has been crying defintely isn't resolved and yet after 5 minutes she just gives up and waits patiently in her little chair until I can get to her. Ridiculous! Z was the opposite. She never stopped crying!

Z still loves her "sister." And frequently kisses her all on her own or wants to give her hugs. Today Z was playing with her Easter eggs and out of nowhere she brought 3 over to Ana and said, "share with sister?" I'm soaking in the sweet while it lasts! Once Ana is mobile and capable of chasing Z, things might be different. Especially if Z views her buddy Linc, who she sees everyday, as a sort of brother-figure. Z does not like to share with Linc. Poor kid.

Z turns TWO in less than a month. So strange! I can't believe she has only been a part of our lives for 2 years, it seems like so much longer. She has learned SO MUCH in the past 2 years and has an almost fully functionable vocabulary. She can also point which way the store and library are and knows when we are passing by our house from the road. She remembers experiences quite well - she frequently refers to "sing songs and claps with the friends." (aka storytime at the library) She also correctly identifies HEBuddy as the "points" (because she gets a buddy sticker every time we go to the store). She knows almost all of the words to "winkle, winkle," "a,b,c's" and "back sheep" (baa baa black sheep). She once even identified the little boy down the lane as "inc!"

She is also ridiculously obedient, for the most part. She is freakishly attached to her "agua" and doesn't really have a bond with any sort of stuffed animal - though she is starting to want a blanket when we rock (but it changes which one) and one when she sleeps. She is still obsessed with her "button" and like always, sucks her two fingers.

Zoe also has the biggest, most beautiful eyes out of anyone I know.

I love this picture of her... what a little chik-fil-a junkie!

I'm attached to my water bottle, too! Way to stay hydrated, Z. I love your little girls, Mandy. :)
