Ana @ 9.5 months

My sweet, sweet Ana girl.

Ana
- gives kisses (quite possibly my favorite thing in life right now). If you ask for a kiss she gets a neutral look on her face, closes her mouth and simply leans a tiny bit forward. it's too cute.
- waves bye-bye sometimes, but usually does it while saying "daaaaa-daaaa" instead of "bye-bye"
- wakes up around 7:45a, naps at 9:30 and again at 1:30 and goes to bed at 6:30 and wakes up once a night at 4:30a
- pulls to standing and cruises
- loves to eat shoes
- "dances" when she hears music. The other day she played a few notes on a baby piano my sister gave her for Christmas and when she heard the noise it made started rocking her head back and forth, "dancing."
- entertains herself almost at 100%. I can easily leave her in a room with books/toys and she will be content for a looooong time.
- loves the book, "Clap Hands" by Helen Oxenbury - we read it every night and have little motions we do with it. She anticpates the motion and if you start the first line of the book, "Clap hands. Dance and Sing." she freaks out with excitment even if you aren't holding the book.
- it attached to a little pink lovey bear. She always sleeps holding him.
- doesn't say "mama" but loooooves to say dada - in whispers, shout, drawn out forms, any way really. I think she uses it differently than for matt because when she sees matt she says something that sounds more like "daddy!"
- is a chunk a chunk a chunk of chubbs.
- is usually on the verge of exploding with joy. EVERY where we go we always hear, "that is the happiest baby I've ever seen!" "She is so happy!" "Look at how much joy she has!" Even Wendell said he has never seen a baby who was that content so much of the time. And since he is almost 90, I'm taking it that he has seen a lot of babies.
- Currently has a wretched cough and runny nose. Poor babes.
- Loves to cuddle. She's content just sitting with me rocking or being in my lap or me holding her and hugging her.

- Her favorite spot to play is in Zoe's window with Zoe's house and dolls. She can sit there a long time just playing quietly.

I LOVE HER!
