3 months of 3 children

Some photos for comparions. Here is Z, A and B all around 2 months.

And now present day:

Look at this girl! Somehow in the past few weeks she has morphed into kid mode. She says SO many things and has also thinned out and gotten taller. Look at that long leg! I also gave her bangs. She constantly takes out hair ties and so in order to appreciate her beautiful face, I had to give her bangs. So far so good. I think I made them thin enough. Bangs can be scary, folks.

So far, Ana's personality is overwhelming polite and generous. Basically anytime Z asks for anything, Ana freely gives it up saying, "Here ya go!" She copies anything Z does and loves, loves, loves Link and our neighbor Milo. She giggles non stop at both of them and chases them around. She has also taken a huge interest in music lately - and can now operate the CD player by herself! She is obsessed with the clase cds and sings along in spanish - I'm almost sure not totally grasping the concepts though. We all got sick a week ago and she was so, unbelieveably screamy! She just woke up and screamed and walked around the house screaming. It was utter madness. But now that she feels better that has let up some. Quite a bit actually, praise the Lord! She is usually a happy, happy girl.

And this one! My big helper. I'm amazed at how independent chick is. She gets dressed by herself, uses the potty by herself, plays by herself, does complex for her age puzzles by herself, she can work the computer and the ipad (scary!)... She is also a great big sister. Comforting both A and B in their times of need. Though independent, she usually always wants someone "with" her - which basically just means in the room with her. She is constantly asking A to tag along with her and often asks me to leave B in the room with her. For example, the girls now technically have seperate beds but if Ana is upset when we leave Zoe invites her to into her *toddler* bed to cuddle. So little room!

We are, -surviving- but our house is usually outrageously messy. laundry is always piled up and our kitchen floor is eternally sticky. There is always one more thing to do!  But, for the most part, I think patience and kindness have been guiding our interactions with one another (well, the girls are still learning with one another) and THAT is most imporatnt to me. Although, the mess does drive me insane at times! But look at these faces... these faces make it worth it!
