Tiny sickness

The girls and I were really sick the past week - which was pretty n-u-t-s! How are you supposed to recover when you sleep 4 hours at night, maybe? And even that - interrupted!? But thankfully, we have come through and I am so happy to be on the other side! Everything is sunshine and watermelon.

Except! Baby Ben got sick! He has the most horrendous cough. It's heart breaking! And because he is wheezy and sneezy and coughy - we took him to the Dr. I've never had a baby this small be sick. I am actually not sure I have ever taken Ana to the Dr for a sick check. Incredible!

Anyways, she gave us breathing treatments and told me he has an ear infection! Surprise! We had no idea about that.. thank you Cleft. Maybe this is why he has been a bit fussy at night lately and waking up more? We'll see. And in the meantime - seeing your baby all tubed up is sad! I was surprised at how sad I was to see him have this incredibly noninvasive thing done to him - and then I told my heart to gear up because surgery! is! coming!

And I am just oh so grateful the kiddos staggered their sickness! And that the wee one and I aren't sick at the same time. Thank you Lord!
